In today’s information addicted world we spend way to much time inside.
We were designed to be outside.
Take a deep breath of fresh air, sit in the sun, swim in a lake, climb a tree, run with the wind, relax in the shade, walk barefoot in the grass…etc.
All of these things make me feel good! Which is why I love doing them, but it’s more then that. We are meant to be outside!
I think it’s a sad truth that we’ve all become to accustomed to living life in our fancy boxes.
I was out with a couple of my buddies last night and we met some friends of ours that we hadn’t seen in awhile. One of them took one look at me before she said “Jon! You are sooo tanned! Where did you go?” Caught off guard, since I hadn’t been anywhere on a trip to the tropics recently, I replied “Outside”.
No surprise I received a funny look back.
My challenge to you…replace an hour inside with one outside…today!
